The dominant colour of the N$20 banknote is orange. Its dimensions are 134 x 70 mm. On the front is the portrait of H. E. Dr Sam Nujoma. On the reverse, the antelope illustrated is the Red Hartebeest.
1. Glossy prints, Bank initials "BON" and the denomination number "20" become shiny and are visible on the front side when the note is tilted.
2. When the note is held up against the light the Bank initials "BON" are complete.
3. When tilted the diamond changes colour from magenta to green and the number "20" appears at the centre.

7. Watermark: the portrait of H. E. Dr Sam Nujoma and the banknote value "20" appear when the note is held up against the light.
