Human Resources Department partners with all its stakeholders to provide timely support and state-of-the-art HR solutions which address the Bank’s needs with the view to enhance organizational performance and strategy achievement.


Functions

The department consists of three Divisions, namely Remuneration; IR and Recruitment Division, and Organization Development and Training Division. The principal accountabilities of the department, amongst others, are as follows:


  • Recruitment and placement of the right number of employees with the ability and willingness to promote the Bank’s corporate culture and strategic goals;
  • Do capacity building at the Bank as a knowledge-based institution where all employees are developed, and their potential is leveraged;
  • Do organization development and alignment of structure, processes and procedures that support the Bank’s vision to be a centre of excellence;
  • Promote industrial harmony and good employee relationships where critical skills are nurtured and retained for the longest period possible;
  • Promote employee wellness and HIV/Aids prevention programmes;
  • Performance management and organization culture development.
  • Manage the Bank’s Remumeration and Benefits to ensure optimal competitiveness in the labour market
