Prof. Jenik Radon is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University's School of Public and International Affairs, where he teaches and researches natural resource governance, sustainable development, corporate responsibility, and public sector governance. His work focuses on helping countries manage the opportunities and challenges associated with resource development, including regulatory compliance, risk management, transparency, anti-corruption, environmental stewardship, and human rights. He has extensive experience working across Africa, including Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Uganda, and has led and supervised numerous research projects examining resource development and governance in emerging and resource-rich economies.

He advises international corporations, state-owned enterprises, governments, and individuals in oil & gas,renewable energy, and mining projects, and provided legal services in matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and corporate governance to project financing as well as rendering advisory services on general commercial and dispute resolution matters.

Mr. Alex Nyombi

Alex Nyombi serves as the Director for Development and Production at the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU), and he leads the technical regulation of oil and gas projects in the country. A Petroleum Geophysicistbybackground, hebringsover twenty years of extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, spanning Petroleum Geoscience, Petroleum Economics and Petroleum law. Notably, he spearheaded and led the government team responsible for drafting and implementing the Model Production Sharing Agreement currently in use. He has also been a key player in licensing rounds, farm-in/farm-down transactions within the country, and international arbitration.
